Thermo Fisher Scientific
AI-Powered Scientific Video Production | Generative Content Workflow
THE CHALLENGE
Thermo Fisher operates at a scale few companies match — global scientific campaigns, multi-business-unit product launches, and flagship industry events including CPHI, DCAT, and BIO International. The demand for high-quality video and motion content was constant. The timelines were tight. Traditional production pipelines couldn’t keep pace. AI could.
THE APPROACH
I developed a generative AI production workflow that integrated directly into our existing creative process:
→ AI-generated scientific visuals replacing expensive stock footage and 3D rendering
→ Generative image workflows for rapid concept visualization and campaign ideation
→ AI-assisted motion assets for webinars, training content, and customer-facing platforms
→ Reusable AI-generated elements combined with motion design in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
The goal was never to replace the creative process. It was to remove the bottleneck between concept and execution — giving the team more time for strategy and storytelling, and less time waiting on production.
TOOLS USED
Higgsfield (Nano Banana 2 + Seedance 2.0) · After Effects · DaVinci Resolve · Premiere Pro
CONCEPT PROJECT
Science moves the world forward. But most people never see it happening.
This video was built around one idea:
Μaking the invisible visible.
Thermo Fisher Scientific operates at the intersection
of every major breakthrough in life sciences —from gene therapy to drug discovery to diagnostics.
Generative AI gave us a new visual language to do it.
Not stock footage. Not diagrams.
Cinematic science.
THE RESULT
Scientific video content that translated complex technical concepts into clear, visually engaging assets — delivered faster, at higher volume, without sacrificing quality. Content produced through this workflow supported:
→ Global product launches across multiple Thermo Fisher business units
→ Customer education and lead generation initiatives
→ Webinar and training platforms reaching a global scientific audience
→ Awareness and education campaigns for biotech, CRO, and CDMO audiences
WHY THIS MATTERS FOR LIFE SCIENCES
Scientific content has a unique challenge: it must be accurate, brand-consistent, and visually compelling — simultaneously. Generative AI, when directed by someone who understands both the science and the craft, makes that possible at a scale that traditional production cannot match. The bottleneck in life sciences content is no longer budget or tools. It’s finding someone who can bridge both worlds.
