THE CHALLENGE

A self-initiated spec commercial for On Running’s Cloudmonster — built entirely with AI tools. No crew, no camera, no budget. Just a creative brief and a pipeline I’ve been pushing to its limits. The approach: cinematic-first, effects-second. Bullet time as the signature moment, first/last frame generation for shot consistency, and a sound design-only mix — no music, just breath, footstrike, and the physics of water off rubber on wet asphalt.

CONCEPT PROJECT

Creating a spec ad for On Running’s Cloudmonster has been an exciting journey, showcasing the potential of AI tools in achieving commercial quality. The brief was straightforward: capture the essence of 5 AM in a city still asleep, featuring one dedicated runner.
